Terms and
Conditions
This
Agreement sets out the terms and conditions for your use of the
website and bookings located at www.welshholiday.co.uk ("welsh
holiday") and the booking of Parc Cefn Coed via "welsh holiday".
Agreement
The
use of "welsh holiday" constitutes your acceptance, without
modification, to the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in
this Agreement. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions you
should not proceed with a booking and leave the "welsh holiday"
site immediately.
Booking your holiday
Provisional Bookings may be made by E Mail or by telephone and in
each case must be followed up with deposit or full payment (as
appropriate) sent to arrive within 5 days.
Bookings are not confirmed until we issue a Booking Confirmation via
E Mail.
Deposit and final payment
A
deposit of £50 is required for each week of a proposed booking and
until this deposit is received, any reservation is deemed
provisional and may be varied or cancelled without prior notice.
The
balance is due 8 weeks before the first day of the planned holiday.
No reminder will be issued and in the event that the balance payment
does not reach us by the date due, we reserve the right to re-let
the Parc Cefn Coed. In such circumstances, a deposit will only be
refunded as outlined in the cancellation section below.
If a
booking is made less than 8 weeks before the start of the planned
holiday, the full payment must be made. A Booking Confirmation E
Mail will be issued upon receipt of full payment
Payments may be made by cheque, bank transfer or pay pal (charge to
be borne by the client).
Cancellation by Client
Under normal circumstances payments made are either not refundable
at all or are only partially refundable. A Cancellation Charge will
be payable based on the number of days before the holiday start date
that we receive a cancellation notification (which must be in
writing). The Cancellation Charge is specified in the following
table: -

Cancellation by the Owners
If we have to cancel a booking of a specified property at any time
after confirming a booking (e.g. because of fire at the property) or
should the property be unavailable on the day that the holiday
starts for reasons outside our control then we will provide a full
refund of the amount paid by the Client and the Client shall have no
further claim.
Times of letting
Holiday accommodation is available from
4.00pm
on the first day of the letting and the Client must vacate by
11.00am on their departure day, unless otherwise agreed .
Client's
responsibilities and obligations
The Client agrees: -
to
pay for any losses or damage to the property or contents (including
the soiling of carpets and soft furnishings) however caused
(reasonable wear and tear excluded) unless the cost of making good
such loss or damage is fully recovered under any insurance policy
maintained by us.
to
take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy
condition on departure
to
permit the Owner and the Agents reasonable access to the property
not
to exceed the total number of people stipulated in the property
description
Damage
to equipment and the property
Any damages to the property or to the equipment belonging to Parc
Cefn Coed House must be reported immediately by phone: 0773 620
6612.
Damages by the Clients to the holiday property or equipment that
belongs to it must be paid in full by the Client to its replacement
value, unless otherwise agreed.
Pets
Pets are only permitted by prior arrangement, a charge of £15 for
each pet is made. Pets are not permitted on the furniture and we can
not accept responsibility for their safety.
Complaints
We are most concerned that you have an enjoyable holiday. Should you
nevertheless have cause for complaint, please advise us immediately,
so that the complaint can be investigated and action taken. We
cannot take responsibility for any matter which you did not bring to
our attention during your holiday.
Hyperlinks to "Welsh
Holiday"
The "welsh holiday" website may contain hyperlinks to
websites operated by other parties. We do not control such websites
and we take no responsibility for, and will not incur any liability
in respect of, their content. Our inclusion of hyperlinks to such
websites does not imply any endorsement of views, statements or
information contained in such websites.
Alteration of Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to alter the Terms and Conditions from time to
time, but this right shall not affect the existing Terms and
Conditions accepted by you upon making a booking using the "welsh
holiday".
Entire
Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between us
concerning its subject matter.
Severance
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or
unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and the remaining
provisions shall remain in force.
General
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Breach of Contract and Law of Contract
If there shall be a breach of any of these conditions on the part of
the Client or any member of the party the Owners reserve the right
to re-enter the property and terminate the holiday letting without
prejudice to the other rights and remedies of the Owner.
The
validity construction and performance of this Agreement shall be
governed by English Law and each of the parties hereby submits to
the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
